Each City has it's own problems to root out so get to the bottom of it. You'll need to stick to your City unless you're 'transferred' to another or your task requires you to venture within your hold. As a Town Guard, you probably won't be sent out of your city very often.
As a Town Guard, your duty is to protect your townspeople and your city.
