It actually works a lot better than the in-game v-sync anyway. So I lowered the graphics so I could get an absolute minimum of 60 FPS, set the in-game limiter to no limit and then set v-sync in the nvidia control panel to 'adaptive half refresh rate' since I also like v-sync in games like this. Unlimiting the FPS and having a variable framerate between 50-100 on max settings played havoc with the mouse, especially when it dopped to the 50-60's in some of the Strongholds. Hardly ideal, but it's the only way to get a consistent mouse speed.įor example, I play on a 120hz monitor, but the game is hardcapped at 100FPS anyway. I can confirm the mouse problem is not an acceleration issue per-se (although it feels like that) it's actually that the mouse sensitivity is tied to framerate in some weird way.īest bet until they fix this and make the mouse movement constant regardless of framerate, is to limit the frame rate via an external method to a point that is acceptable to you, and then reduce the graphics so that is your minimum FPS.
